Caught Inside

The world of big wave surfing is one of ultimate risk and reward. No one understands this more than Big Wave World Tour Champion Greg Long. Long has dedicated his life to the pursuit of finding and riding the biggest waves on the planet. On December 21st 2012 while surfing 100 miles off the coast of San Diego California at the elusive open water break known as Cortez Bank, Long suffered a horrific wipe out and narrowly escaped the clutches of the Pacific. Enduring a year long battle through fear and self-doubt, Long regained his poise and again climbed to the pinnacle of the sport, returning to Cortez Bank to ride the wave that nearly took his life.
