Warren Miller’s PLAYGROUND also exposes the most unlikely winter sports destination, a resort found directly within the Arabian Desert called Ski Dubai. Olympic Gold Medalist, skiing innovator and pop icon, Jonny Moseley, adds a new title to his resume as he serves as the film’s narrator. This year’s invigorating action display includes: a rare and insightful segment on ski racing king and perceived industry bad boy, Bode Miller; a trip to Alaska’s untouched Chugach
Range with X-Games Gold Medalists, and brothers, Zach and Reggie Crist; unbelievably deep powder in Utah and British Columbia; and astonishing aerial acrobatics from Sweden, and so much more. It also showcases the strength, perseverance, and dedication it takes to compete in the Iditarod, a challenging race that tests both the musher and the dogs.

Throughout the film, viewers get a glimpse into Anna's life as a musher, the bond she shares with her sled dogs, and the obstacles she faces on and off the trail while highlighting the supportive community that rallies behind her and the impact of her story on others. Both athletes are accomplished endurance runners and mountaineers with many Fastest Known Time (FKT) accomplishments. The goal is to establish the first international Infinity Loop, which happens to be on one of the Volcanic Seven Summits. It will entail moral dilemmas, character development, the importance of being a good partner in the mountains, and 40+ miles with 20,000 feet of elevation gain, including two summits of Pico De Orizaba at 18,491 feet above sea level.
