Buzzing from a record-setting night in Levi, Finland; Mikaela Shiffrin is riding high straight into Killington, Vermont; the only stop in the United States on the Women’s circuit. Killington Ski Resort ended its 25 year absence from the World Cup tour three years ago and since it’s return, it has become a staple within the ski community, boasting over 16,000 fans with a raucous atmosphere that is unmatched across the globe. Mikaela looks to stay level-headed and humble for her Giant Slalom runs, as her sights are set on only one thing; putting on a show her hometown fans will never forget.
Killington Part 2
Since Killington’s return to the FIS circuit, Mikaela Shiffrin has won all three Slalom events hosted by the venue. This season hopes to be no different, as Slalom has consistently served as her ‘bread and butter’. Over the course of her career, Mikaela has amassed 61 World Cup wins, with 41 of those coming in Slalom. Determined to continue her streak on home soil, Mikaela looks inward to overcome struggles both on and off the hill.
