Wes Siler makes the case that outdoorsy types are too often guilty of unfairly judging people who enjoy the outdoors in different ways. Case in point: ATV riders, who are vilified by hikers and bikers, even though most ATV riders are ultimately using their machines to participate in the same activities. With our public lands, clean air, and clean water all threatened by right-wing politicians, it’s up to all of us who love getting out there to make allies, not enemies, in the fight to save these precious assets.
