When Trail Meets Road | Braveheart Runners

SCOTT Sports released the first episode of the new series “When Trail Meets Road”. The series documents the Braveheart Runners Foundation and the growth of its young Kenyan athletes. For many of the athletes, they dream of racing in prestigious races all around the world. In this series, we will follow the journey as SCOTT prepares the runners for their first road races in Switzerland, and eventually the mighty Ultraks Matterhorn, Zermatt later this summer. Filmed in Iten, Kenya, Episode 1 documents the first meeting between SCOTT and the athletes and team behind the Braveheart Runners Foundation, and the significance of this new partnership. Introducing the Foundation, the on-site support staff, and the athletes, this episode focuses on the story of team captain Benard “Chebasa” Koch, and how he discovered his passion for running, as well as how he and the team train when in Kenya.
