Alexandria Williams | Six Star Stories
27min
Alexandria Williams first attempted the Boston Marathon in 2018 but succumbed to the awful weather that day, like so many other runners. She tried again in 2022 and missed the cut-off by two minutes. In 2023, she is back for a third attempt, and this time it will also be the day she earns the Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star Medal. As a proud member of the black running community, Alex works tirelessly to champion black runners in Boston and at all the Majors. This is the story of a woman who fell in love with the marathon and the power of the community she found there.
